I have a unique perspective when advising and supporting the parents. As an attorney with over 20 years in practice, I have experience litigating disability-related cases and advising parents on special education matters. As a trainer for the Federation for Children with Special Needs, I regularly interact with parents and caregivers of children throughout the state with an array of concerns, issues, and experiences, and have a true sense of the range of possibilities and potential pitfalls. As a mother of children with disabilities, I have firsthand knowledge of how challenging and overwhelming it can be to prioritize and allocate time and resources to effectively support your child, both in and out of school.
KIDSI am mom to a daughter in high school, a son in elementary school, and 2 rescue dogs.
NETWORKI am a member of the Special Needs Advocacy Network, the Sudbury League of Women Voters and the Sudbury Educational Resource Fund. I am also a former board member of Sudbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council, Peter Noyes Parent Teacher Organization and Curtis Parent Organization.
